Recently, the first train of the electric bus project of Beijing Metro Line 3 equipped with Huaqi PIS rolled off the assembly line in Hebei Jingcheng Intelligent Manufacturing Base. As the first fully-automatic metro vehicle in China to realize fully-automatic coupling and flexible grouping, Beijing Metro Line 3 adopts 4+4 fully-automatic unmanned driving technology, with a maximum running speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a maximum passenger capacity of 3,456 people. On the premise of realizing flexible marshalling of vehicles, it can realize cross-line interconnection with Line 12.
Beijing Metro Line 3 runs from Dongsishitiao Station in the west to Gaoxinzhuang Station in the east, with a total length of 20 kilometers, all of which are underground lines, with 14 stations. Except Dongsishitiao Station, the other 13 stations are located in Chaoyang District. After the completion of the project, workers stadium, Sanlitun, Chaoyang Park, Beijing Chaoyang Station, Chaoyang Sports Center, Dongba Group and other key Chaoyang areas will be connected in series to provide rail transit services for residents along the line and further improve the rail transit network in the eastern part of the central city. At the same time, as the main trunk line connecting several north-south and east-west rail transit lines, the opening of Line 3 will increase the transfer nodes, improve the passenger travel efficiency and greatly enhance the accessibility of the capital rail transit network. At present, the construction of Metro Line 3 is accelerating.

Automatic and efficient unmanned driving: PIS system can automatically complete the functions of train station announcement display and automatic broadcasting in unmanned driving mode;
Visual alarm is safe and fast: the emergency alarm of passengers goes directly to the control center, and the control center can sense the surrounding situation of passengers in 360 degrees;
Flexible scheduling of cross-line operation: In the actual operation process, when the passenger flow of Line 12 increases, the trains of Line 3 can be transferred to Line 12 according to the demand, and the broadcast and display contents of PIS system are switched every second, so as to avoid the situation that passengers wait for a long time and people in the station are crowded due to the shortage of temporary traffic on the line, and maximize the optimization of vehicle resource allocation;
Flexible marshalling is energy-saving and efficient: the system supports flexible marshalling. During peak hours, vehicles run in (4+4) marshalling to ensure that the vehicle carrying capacity meets the demand of passenger flow. During the peak hours, the vehicle will be "slimmed down" by changing from 8-marshalling vehicles to 4-marshalling vehicles without increasing the interval time between trains. PIS system can automatically adapt to the marshalling transformation and improve the efficiency of train transformation, thus scientifically shortening the waiting time and enhancing the ride experience.
In addition, the passenger information system products of Beijing Line 3 are full of practical goods, a 42.7-inch large-screen dynamic map, a 21.5-inch narrow-frame large-screen TV, an emergency alarm with visual function, seamless monitoring coverage of the whole vehicle, key monitoring coverage of emergency braking, etc.
