This morning, the first train of the western section of Beijing Metro Line 11 rolled off the production line at the Jingche intelligent manufacturing base in Hebei. The western section of Metro Line 11, also known as the "Winter Olympics Spur Line," is the first intelligent rail transit demonstration line in Beijing, using new technologies such as fully automated driving, variable frequency air conditioning, dynamic map with brightness adjustment, and 5G antennas inside the vehicle. The line starts from Moshikou Station in the north and ends at Xinshougang Station in the south. The line length is 4.2 km, with 4 stations at Modekou, Jinanqiao, Beixinan Road, and Xinshougang. The western section of Line 11 adopts A-type aluminum alloy metro trains, with a maximum operating speed of 100 km/h, and is a metro vehicle project that can realize a staffed automatic operation system.

Huaqi PIS Inside

One of the three regular trains on Beijing Line 11 has been rolled out. The project is the first in the industry to adopt the integrated machine architecture. Huaqi has set up an R&D team to overcome several technical difficulties under the integrated machine framework and has successfully developed the passenger information display system and broadcasting system function modules, which have the characteristics of solid compatibility and high reliability.

The large 43" dynamic map shows not only the route map and station map but also the crowding level of each carriage. The map screen allows passengers to find a more comfortable neighboring carriage to travel in and offers a more balanced occupancy rate in each carriage. The screen also automatically adjusts the brightness of the display according to the light level in the car, reducing the chance of the screen being "shaky."

A convenient one-touch call for assistance enables an emergency video intercom between passengers and the driver or control center in the event of an emergency in the vehicle.

With the first train of Beijing Metro Line 11 coming off the line, the intelligent trains serving the 2022 Winter Olympics will also be unveiled one after another.
